As The Harmon Edit nears its first anniversary, I’ve been reflecting on what this business truly represents—what it means to me, to my clients, and to the creative industry as a whole.
Growing up, I was a cheerleader, and that spirit has naturally carried over into the way I approach my business. I’ve always loved encouraging others, and that energy shows up in how I support my clients today. Whether I’m offering a kind word while filming, reposting their work, engaging with their content, or simply showing up as a steady presence, my hope is that they feel supported, valued, and truly seen. My goal is for The Harmon Edit’s Instagram to feel like a hub for discovery and connection—a place where creatives can find inspiration, share their wins, and support one another.
The Harmon Edit was built with one mission in mind: to create content that empowers creatives. I specialize in working with businesses in the design-driven world—interiors, events, and weddings—to create visual narratives that are as elevated and refined as the work they produce. My greatest strength lies in making their work look its absolute best through the lens of my iPhone and the polish of my editing. The iPhone has become my preferred tool not only for its flexibility and quality, but because it’s the native device for the platforms where my clients’ content will live—social media. It allows me to shoot and edit in real-time, capturing beauty in a way that feels both cinematic and immediate. I take great care in capturing the mood, aesthetic, and voice of each client so that their audience experiences the story exactly as it was intended.
Much of my work unfolds during high-pressure moments: install days, wedding mornings, final walkthroughs. I approach these with a quiet presence, often described as a “fly on the wall,” so that I can seamlessly capture both the beauty and the behind-the-scenes without disrupting the event. My background in the industry means I understand the stakes, the stress, and the significance—and I bring that empathy with me to every shoot.
