A Fashion-First Wedding That Broke Tradition

Tate’s wedding weekend was an extension of her personal style—thoughtful, directional, and entirely her own. Beginning with a rehearsal dinner at St. Paul College Club and culminating in a full wedding day across The Church of the Assumption and Somerset Country Club, each moment was intentionally designed and documented. Beyond the structure of the weekend, fashion remained at the center. Tate approached every look—her own and her bridal party’s—with the same level of curation typically reserved for editorial shoots, ultimately stunning guests in a bold, unconventional bright pink gown. As Danny noted beforehand, he had a feeling her dress wouldn’t be white—and he was right. From bridesmaids styling to outfit changes throughout the day, the visual identity of the wedding was as considered as the celebration itself.

With a full photo and video team already in place, Tate made a deliberate decision to also invest in content creation—ensuring she would have immediate, wearable content to share with her audience. The focus extended beyond the expected moments, capturing not only the structure of the day—from early morning preparations through ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—but also the styling, movement, and personality woven throughout. This allowed her to highlight her fashion in a way that felt native to her platform: dynamic, personal, and ongoing beyond the wedding day itself. The result speaks to a broader shift in how weddings are documented—where content creation offers a distinct layer of value. Not just preserving how the day looked, but how it lived, how it was styled, and how it continues to be shared.
