The Role of Movement in a Fashion Launch

Set between the interiors of Zero George Hotel and the surrounding streets of Charleston, this shoot for Eddy was designed to capture more than just a collection—it was about creating a mood. Known for building a distinct visual identity through content, Eddy approached this shoot with a clear intention: to document the feeling of the collection as it would ultimately be experienced. In collaboration with influencer Rainey Lancaster and photographer Laura Saur, the day centered around capturing both the still editorial moments and the movement that brings them to life.

While photography defined the polished final imagery, video added another dimension—highlighting the way the clothing moved, interacted with light, and translated in real time. This proved especially valuable as the collection launched, offering content that felt dynamic, immersive, and aligned with the brand’s identity. Capturing Rainey within the pieces added a layer of personality and presence, allowing the audience to experience the collection beyond a static frame. The result is a set of videos that supports not just the campaign itself, but the broader storytelling around it—reinforcing how movement and mood play a central role in how fashion is seen and shared.
