On Sullivans Island, this project brought together multiple creative partners—Ellen Casey of Styled by Ellen Casey and Mulberry Millworks—to document a completed project by Betsy Berry Interiors. Designed around a professional photoshoot, the day carried a dual purpose: capturing final portfolio imagery while also documenting the process behind it. For Ellen, that meant content that reflected her role in real time—styling, adjusting, and refining each space as it came together, offering a perspective that is rarely documented but essential to her brand. For the Mulberry Millworks team, it was an opportunity to introduce another dimension to their portfolio—elevating their work through video and expanding how it could be experienced across social platforms.
Working in tandem with Kelsey Paige, the approach balanced both priorities seamlessly. Alongside behind-the-scenes coverage, each space was captured at its peak—fully styled, lit, and ready—creating content that could be used across multiple platforms and by multiple collaborators. For Ellen, this shift has been transformative—“Having a dedicated content creator has humanized my brand, giving my audience a front-row seat to the work and artistry behind the final result.” From cabinetry details to final styling moments, the result is a layered body of work that extends beyond a single perspective. This project reflects a broader shift in interior documentation: where one shoot can serve many purposes, and where capturing both the process and the finished product adds lasting value for every creative involved.
