A Dunlin Wedding Designed Like a Full Production

Set against the coastal landscape of The Dunlin, Taylor and Doug’s wedding weekend unfolded as a layered, multi-day experience—beginning with an intimate rehearsal dinner and welcome party before transitioning into a fully immersive wedding day. While the setting itself offered a sense of quiet luxury, the visual direction of the weekend was driven by Taylor, a stylist whose perspective shaped every detail. Fashion was not just a component, but a central narrative—from her own wardrobe to the overall aesthetic of the celebration, including a guest dress code of all black that created a striking, cohesive backdrop. The result was a wedding that felt both elevated and intentional, culminating in a reception space completely transformed with layered draping and over 1,500 candles—eschewing florals entirely in favor of something more atmospheric and unexpected.

Content creation played a key role in capturing not just the wedding day, but the full scope of the production. In anticipation of the scale of the install, Haley Kelly’s team brought in coverage the day prior to document the full setup—offering a behind-the-scenes perspective on a transformation guests would never fully see. On the wedding day itself, the focus extended beyond traditional moments—highlighting styling decisions, movement, and the overall energy of the celebration. A standout moment came in the form of a surprise first look, where Taylor stunned Doug in a reveal orchestrated by the media team. As the evening transitioned into a western-themed after party, the content continued to reflect the layered nature of the weekend—capturing it in a way that allows the day to be revisited exactly as it was experienced. As Taylor later shared, “I get to relive every moment of that day through her work.”

This project underscores a more expansive role for content creation: not only preserving how a wedding looked, but revealing how it came together, how it was styled, and how each moment was intentionally built.
